Here is another example of rescued animals getting another chance.
WOODCREST, Calif. (KABC) —
Sixty-one dogs were taken from a Woodcrest home outside Riverside after an attic fire broke out on Saturday.
Firefighters quickly put out the flames shortly after 3:15 p.m. in the 16400 block of Pick Place. No people or dogs were injured.
The owners of the dogs, which were all Shetland Sheepdogs or Shetland Sheepdog mixes, surrendered ownership to Riverside Animal Control, which will work with rescues to get the dogs adopted.
The American Red Cross is helping three of the displaced residents.
SAVE A RESCUE IN YOUR AREA. GIVE AN ANIMAL ANOTHER CHANCE.
How many of us here have a heart for animals? Like children, they are in the mix. How many would buy a rescue or prefer a purebred? (dog, cat, etc)
Its all about having a second chance. Many I’ve seen in the rescue arena, say it all with their eyes. It sure would be great to sit and listen to some rescued dogs to hear their stories regarding their journey. If only they could talk. Although, looking at some rescues, their appearance says it all. I’ve seen many before and after rescues too. Here are a few successful rescues.
Before ~ This is a rescued goat that was being starved to death. After…this is him after he was rescued.
Its all in our hearts and all in their eyes asking for a second chance.
